Doubles Tournament (Wilson Salvers)

In glorious June sunshine seven pairs competed for the Wilson Salvers over the weekend , June 9/10th, at Cornwall Croquet Club's home courts at Porthpean.
With each pair playing six shortened 14 point games, two teams tied with 5 wins each, but Nigel Grant and David Edwards beat Malcolm Hooper and Ron George on their match as well as points scored.
The Club's Tournament Secretary, Malcolm Hooper organised and managed the event.
The Tournament Referee was Tony Backhouse (Club Chairman).
